Voting on Last Band Standing
The most important thing for the team at Last Band Standing is creating a level playing field. When the original concept was created, we soon realised that some bands may try to rig the voting. Because of this, we employed some of the smartest brains in New Media to create an algorithmic voting system.
This is to stop bands uploading a track on the last day of voting and voting '10' for themselves over and over again.
The system works on an algorithm basis and takes into account nearly 30 different parameters including human behaviour, total votes cast, number of plays, searches for the band, average vote etc.
As you can see, we have tried to level the playing field as much as possible so that bands whose fans genuinely come on and vote for them, stand a much better chance of winning.
Start giving those leaflets out at gigs (if you haven't already requested a gig pack, email gigpacks@lastbandstanding.co.uk ) and please remember, gig packs are on a first come first served basis.
